It's historical fiction. This does not give me confidence. Of course, we have only the Roman viewpoint for any kind of history of the Punic Wars, so you might as well make up a good Carthaginian story.

This book is so graphically bloody, I don't see how they could do this movie without sanitizing it a little. It would have to be NC-17.

The violence as depicted would have to be toned down, or the story will simply get lost in the blood.
