| How excited (or not) I am to see this movie... |

| I didn't really care to see this movie at all. I mean come on, it's based on a ride? What next, a movie based on 3' kids terrorising countries singing "It's a Small World After All"? I think I'd go insane. But this was a good turn out. Where did they get these writers who actually have clever ideas, instead of a ripping off previous movies, or Disney channel citcoms about some 13 year old girl who wants to be some Britney Spears pop star ho? I thought it was going down the gutter, but I was finally proved wrong. |

| Yes, I agree with my previous statement. Disney can do really stupid things some-times, such as making dramatic sequels about the children with basically the same story line as the good old classics, which took real talent to write ("Little Mermaid 2" "Lady and the Tramp 2" "Lion King 2"...) But hey, such as the creation of "Emporer's New Groove," they came up with a rather creative idea. "Pirates" really surprised me, so much that I went twice. At first I thought, "Yeah, a pathetic Disney movie about pirates, a curse, a girl, based on a ride? What the heck?" But when I found that Orando Bloom and Johnny Depp were starring...I couln't resist. The graphics were surreal, and the story line was finally not so Disney-ish. Though I was easily able to guess the second half, it was still pretty intense. But if they make a "Pirates 2" which consists of Orlando's kid...I may have to lay a smackdown. |
