Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl “Pirate FEVER!” — Madame Pirate [More reviews by this user] Anticipation Level: How excited (or not) I am to see this movie... I mainly wanted to see this movie because it had Johnny Depp an Orlando Bloom in it. I had no idea I would love it so much. Movie Review: My thoughts on this movie... Remember way back in 1993 when the first Jurassic Park hit the screens? Remember how after that movie SO many people suddenly got "Dinosaur FEVER" This film was set in new genre that most hadn't experienced and everyone just went crazy for it. Well, In my opinion, hd Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl had that same effect on people. It was something new and based around a genre that has never quite been mastered. If you look on the internet you can seen it EVERYWHERE. Previously inactive Pirate Chats and Forums are now bustling with interested viewers wanting to know as much about the ancient days of Piracy as they possibly can accumulate. It's that same "Fever" except this time with Pirates. The movie was GREAT. My best friend and I saw it together at the theatre for the first time. I'd have to say that it was by far the most fun I have EVER had at the movies. We loved it so much that we had to go back and see it a few more times. Afterwards we both started surfing the internet for anything we could find that had to do with Pirates or the movie. The story was interesting and captured you but the performances where what made the movie so great. Especially Johnny Depp's performance as Captain Jack Sparrow. When I decided to write a review, I didn't think it would be possible to give it enough compliments and I know that I didn't give it near as much credit as it deserved.
