Three Disk Edition for Pirates!

SUBMITTED BY Kit-Kat

October 8, 2004Disney has announced plans to release a three-disc edition of Pirates Of The Caribbean this November. The set will be made up of the standard two-disc set already on the market, along with a bonus disc containing eight new bonus features. These features will include a Becoming Captain Jack feature in which Johnny Depp divulges revelations about fulfilling his boyhood dream of playing a pirate and his unique take on Jack Sparrow, a Becoming Barbossa feature on how actor Geoffrey Rush fleshed out his villainous character, a Thar She Blows featurette on the Interceptor ship from building it to blowing it up and a The Monkeys Name Is Jack feature where you meet Levi and Tara, the two tiny masters of mayhem who play the infamous primate pirate. Completing the package will be a Pirates Around The World feature containing a comparison of dubbed versions from across the seven seas, more Fly On The Set featurettes in which you join the filmmakers as they create additional key sequences from the movie, a Spirit of the Ride feature in which cast and crew reflect on their earliest memories of the attraction and how it inspired the film and finally a Sneak Attack Animatic on how the filmmakers visualized the scene.
