In pirates of the caribbean everyone says "Savy" but I have not a clue what it means so please if you do know can ya help me out???

Yeah, pretty much... it comes from the conjugated Spanish and/or French (so probably Latin based) verb for "to see". So it's kind onf like ending a sentence with "you see?", savvy? (I couldn't resist!!! )
