I know it's nothing new, but it got me excited nonetheless.

I was watching the PotC commentary with Johnny Depp and Gore Verbinsky, and Gore was talking about how an improv line had been cut, and Johnny said "Oh, well. There's always the sequel!"

Like I said, nothing new, but still exciting! Thought I'd spread some joy!

I should watch the DVD with commentary sometime. I enjoy commentary, especially if it's with more than one person. If it's just one person it can be rather boring. I also think commentary with Johnny Depp would be really cool. He's great to listen to.



I'd just like to add that I loved how they ended the movie. Not only did it set it up well for the sequel(it's no surprise that there'll be one), but it was just really cool.

Drink up me harties, yo ho!!

lol same here! i know a sequel is coming, but just hearing it come from them made it that much more exciting.

I was so excited that someone was letting me borrow their DVD b/c they had pre-odered it.. I came home today, and he had taken it back.. ER! So I went to the store to rent it, all out. I swear.. I want this DVD sooooooo bad too. All I got out of this is free passes to Smuggelers cove.. << in place of PotC???? I can't wait for a sequel to come out! ENJOY YOU'RE DVD'S FOLKS! lol.. i must go buy it.

I enjoyed that part too. I hope the sequel is as good as the original. I just love that movie.

It was too bad to hear that that one actor who said to Orlando Bloom "Say goodbye", died during post production. They were right, it was quit ironic. It was sad too.

It's true in most movies that the most memorable, and best, lines are ad-libed. Such as......"You're not a eunuch are you?"


I'm looking forward to hearing the other commentaries.

The Keira Knightley comentary is funnier, I think, the only problem is that is a selective commentary, so they don't do the entire movie. I thought there was a problem with my DVD player until I read the outside of the DVD!

I thought that whole 'goodbye' thing with Orlando was ironic/sad as well...

I really agree. The Keira Knightley comentary is WAY funnier. and it does suck that it isnt a full commentary. i felt bad for the norrington dude...he couldnt get a word in. well not true....Keira did shut up evey once in a while. ^_^

Ya know what I love about that, Defective? (besides the pic in your sig- I could stare at that forever I think) I didn't know that the whole eunuch thing was just Johnny Depp winging it, and they decided to leave it in. I couldn't believe it!
