Stuart Kemp from the Hollywood Reporter stated that the Constant Gardener would be opening the London Festival!

Fernando Meirelles' "The Constant Gardener" will open this year's The Times BFI London Film Festival, organizers said Wednesday. Starring Ralph Fiennes and Rachel Weisz, "The Constant Gardener" will unspool in an opening night gala event on Wednesday, Oct.19. Based on the John le Carre novel of the same name, "Gardener" tells the story of a man's journey to uncover the truth behind a personal loss and a global conspiracy. The cast also includes Danny Huston and Bill Nighy and the movie is produced by Simon Channing Williams for Focus Features. United International Pictures is releasing the film in the U.K. Organizers also said that the festival would close Nov. 3 with a screening of George Clooney's "Good Night, and Good Luck."
