In this week ET magazine, they have a section about Artemis Fowl movie. It said that Disney now owns the rights to make the movie and Stuart Beattie (collateral) is writing the movie.

does that mean mirmax gave thr rights to disney? Idk, but I liked Miramax better. I'm 14 and do hope Disney doesn't turn this into in anime with short, cute, little blue things as the cast, those smurfs! (pun not intended)

I was surprised too. I thought that this book was way to dark for Disney to handle. I really don't want them to make Artemis soft.
