Hell no for Mark Wahlberg but as for Steve Buscemi, that man can play Goro from Mortal Kombat for all I care. I will still enjoy his portrayal.

Hugo Weaving that would be an excellent choice.

My first post was to get this started and I was drawing a blank as to actors that looked like him but Hugo would be good!

I'm not a huge fan but what about Clive Owen for Sinestro? And in my personal opinion, they should save Reynolds for Kyle Rayner.

I think so.

Although I think a cleanly trimmed goatee would be more appropriate for sinister-looking facial hair. I think we can all agree that a handlebar mustache would look pretty ridiculous.

After that, just have him slap back on his Elrond ears, get back into his Agent Smith persona, and he IS Sinestro.

Shia LeBeouf is far too young, and definately not a good enough actor to play Sinestro. I can't see him pulling off being Hal Jordan's peer and trainer.

Steve got an email that Zachary Quinto was recently approached for the role but no word if he was signed or not.

Zachary Quinto has to be the crappiest choice of crap choices.

When I think of Sinestro. I have always thought of him as older, tall, kind of skinny with an attitude. For me, they need to have someone who could play the father figure to Hal. Like Liam Neeson did for Christrian Bale in Batman Begins, but more evil.

I like the choice of Hugo Weaving, but I think Titus Welliver could fit the bill too. It's a tough call, but the choice of Zach is crap!

Quinto could definately act the part, but there still won't be a big enough age gap between him and Hal for my liking. It'd definately be interesting to see though.
