Today when I woke up Kong was up to 97% on the tomatoemeter now twelve hours later it has dropped twelve percent to 85%. It's been on this free fall for the last two hours with over six rotten reviews coming in over the past two hours and as little as three fresh reviews. It still has forty more reviews to go. Even the COTC tomatoemeter is low (I figured it and it's not 82% as the site says it really only 77%.) If Kong keeps this up it could just end up with the tomatoemeter everyone first thought it would have around 75%.
I also want to point out the main reason why critics are bashing it is becausde of,
A. The first seventy minutes were boring (Jesus Christ you know most movies have a slow start that picks up the paces half way through. LOTR was like that you all loved it. I think they just are bashing it because it's the idea of a ginat ape.)
B. To loud. WTF are they now in third grade where they can't handle loud batlle scenes All three LOTR had long and loud and intense battle scenes.
C. Jack Black. Oh wow so your going to let one guy ruin the movie very mature of you.
D. To long. Again Titanic and LOTR were longer but you liked them why not this?
E. To hard to look at. I guess one reviewer said the effects were so hard on the eyes it ruined it. Wow well considering most reviewers did not complain why are you b!tching?
Really it's just petty things. People probably giving it a bad review to lower the meter. I don't know.
I will wait until I see it at midnight to judge. I also will wait to see the Yahoo critics thing (That is the most accurate because it takes the grades given by the big critics and averages them. The Yahoo score is what counts the most)
