I heard that Howard Shore was being replaced by James Newton Howard a few weeks ago. I was fearing that the same thing would happen like it did with Troy when Gabrial Yared was replaced by James Horner. I was wrong. The four minute clip that was presented by NBC was excellent. For one reason: the music. James Newton Howard has written a score like all his others, with a theme that sends shivers up your spine. You'd only have to listen to one of his isolated scores from other movies to understand what I'm talking about. Now, I can't wait to hear the soundtrack, the complete soundtrack at that.
newton howard and gregson-williams are my fav composers (newton howard for the last 5 year..gregson-williams for like 2 years). its good they are both doing a huge film this year.
i dont want to coment on the score until i hear it all or see the film (ill see the film first)
