He, I recently found out that there is a movie called "Edges Of The Lord" and Haley Joel Osment is in it. But it seems that there is no releases of this movie - no DVDs, no Showtimes, no trailers, no nothing . What the?

I mean, man, I want to watch it, I am dying to watch it. And I mean it. I found only some european DVD releases that, I have no idea, how to purchase... And some unofficial info, that Miramax hesitates to release the movie. And it could be, I repeat - it could be release in year 2004.

Does anybody have any idea about this movie at all?

I think there's some stupid reason that the movie is not released in the US. Because it's almost a polish movie???

As far as I can tell, it hasn't been released in the US, nor will it in the forseeable future. That's why you also can't find it on DVD or video in the US -- they didn't release it here. HOWEVER, it is available on DVD over eBay -- a couple of people have imported it into the US from the countries in which the movie WAS released (notably, Brazil and Hong Kong). The original language is indeed English, and the DVD's are universal, so you should be able to play them without difficulty. The only possible downside (aside from the possibility that these are pirated versions, but they LOOK original as far as I can tell) is that the covers are in either Portuguese or Chinese, and you might have to turn off the subtitles if they default to having them on. I'm thinking of buying one myself.

Huh...wonder if the original language is English and it's been released in a country that doesn't speak much of it...oh well

Yeah! Edges of The Lord does exsist. But i'm pretty sure you will have to order it off the internet, like Amazon or maybe even Ebay. I've seen some pictures form it, i think (but i'm not sure) it was fillmed in Poland.

Poland, this sounds like a good movie, if it's in English I'll rent it or something...or is it?

I saw edges of the lord last weekend and it was fantastic. haley was terrific in it and so was willem dafoe who played a catholic priest. i highly recommend this movie to anybody. it's not appropriate for small children thoug, as it shows some very violent scenes.
