Next week (28th) is the moment I've been waiting 5 long months for....we're going to see The Boy From Oz.
(I've got a few surprizes for Mr. Jackman, but that'll be another story )

I realized that - for those who do like my NY-trip stories - I've nevah told about #8.

Extremely quick synopsis: My daughter and I were greeted by Hugh: "Hey guys, good to see you again!"
(I DO have video proof of this, but need to transfer it to CD)
Were caught in a hellacious downpour and then hung out in Toys-R-Us and "froze"
In between trying to hail a cab, I jumped up 'n down to the music with an Arabic man who was selling meat-kabobs on 42nd Street.
MY CAMERA FROZE!!!! so my pics with Hugh didn't come out!!!

Last week, I received two pics taken by one of my fellow Ozalots. I had no idea she took them and needless to say - my daughter 'n I are thrilled! And we can't believe she actually apologized that they aren't good quality....Hey - They may not be magazine quality, but we think they AND SHE are the greatest!


Hugh's about to sign my shirt (soon as he opens his eyes, that is...)



Re-signing 'Louie' for Lauren (she damnear hugged the autograph off it)

aww!!! those are cool, WT! it's cool that you guys are that well known by Hugh (of course, 8 or 9 times of meeting him'll probably do that) I'm just glad that I'm able to go on the 31st, boy was that hell to fight for!so have lotsa fun, which I know you will!!

Ok, ok, fine, I'll give you details. well, apparently, my parents went and saw the movie The Terminal, and they took it as some kind of sign that I had to go to NY to see TBFO and the aforementioned hot Australian actor. me, hardly believing my good fortune, decided not to argue, and proceeded to Expedia.com to book plane tickets and a hotel, then to telecharge.com to get the tickets. after getting the tickets, they were inexplicably cancelled on the 23rd, and I made a very long, agonizing phone call to get it sorted out. as of about twenty minutes ago, I am now in possession of TBFO tickets for the 31st, and am praying that nothing else goes wrong , because I'm about to have a dang heart attack!!!!! so basically, we're going to be in NY for about three days, and the last one dosen't count, cuz we leave at like seven in the morning to go back home. I think I got all the details, is there anything else you'd like to know??

Well, wiseguy... , 'thought it might be cool to see if we tried to meet at the stagedoor before the show.

Even though I won't be seeing the show, I'm always willing to stop by the stagedoor...

I'll keep my fingers crossed that all goes well for the rest of your trip - and where are your seats?

well, the tickets are orchestra seats, row G, which from what I can tell is good. and it would be soo cool to see ya! name the time to meet ya and where the stage door is, and I'll meet you there! (the door's probably quite obvious, but I'm kinda bad at finding stuff)

Yep - good seats!
Stagedoor is 249-250 West 46th Street, you can cut throught the Marriot's walkway to go back 'n forth between 45th and 46th Streets. The stagedoor is very plain and it's BEFORE the marquee on 46th st. They'll have barricade against the building (or already set up). Do your best to get to the stagedoor by 6:00pm for a good spot at the barricade.

I'm going to try to make it, I may have to work *growls* I case I don't get to see you (pouts) have a Fantastic time!
