Wow, the cast for this one looks awesome! The four leading roles have fantastic actors playing them and it's going to be awesome when this one comes out in 2003. I'll watch anything with Gene Hackman in it. Your thoughts?

I agree!

I am a BIG fan of John Cusack, which is why I'm going out for this one. I'm not convinced, though I like her work, that Rachel Weisz is Marlee, but I think I was way too excited when Naomi Watts was announced anyway. Hackman and Hoffman are all-stars, and director Gary Fleder's done great work on the "Subway" episode of "Homicide." The book is great already and with a cast like this I couldn't see *not* seeing this movie!

I gotta admit, it's a great cast. There's just one thing that changed my mind when I came on here this morning. The fact that the plot has been "Hollywoodised." The fact that it's now about a victim of an office shooting instead of cigarettes? That kinda takes the whole point out of it! Anyone agree?
