Now, what CA has been told hasn't been confirmed by anyone we can trust, so we're presenting this piece of gossip to you as gossip...got it? But even though it can't be vouched for, it's something we have to mention to you on the chance it is indeed real because the scoop makes sense. When Fox automatically gives a greenlight to a $100 M movie without a leading man attached to it, you better believe they'll get someone to fill the part pretty damn soon...and our scooper swears the guy who already has the job is none other than Mr. Mel Gibson. Makes sense too because Mel and Roland already know each other from collaborating on Columbia Pictures' The Patriot two summers ago.
