This weather report just in - expect major climate disruptions this winter in Montreal. Luckily for Montrealers, the extreme weather conditions will be restricted to the set of the pricey Hollywood action film The Day After Tomorrow.
The 20th Century-Fox production, which has a budget of between $100 million and $125 million U.S., will be shooting in and around Montreal from early November to late March. The film, a high-concept tale of weather systems gone crazy, is one of the most expensive films ever to be made in the city.
