The Day After Tomorrow is a big disappointment. Sure the visuals are at times very impressive, but it offers nothing beyond that. Unlike Independance Day, which never took itself too seriously, this film is all business, quietly pushing its social agenda to the audience.

A fuller explanation of the film's positives and negatives can be seen at my website Ecritiques.com .
