Better than 'Independence Day'?

I have seen this movie not long ago and it was a really good movie. I really love the movie and the ending was a bit confusing, but I still love the movie and it is not like I want to marry the film or anything.

*chuckles*

After the movie has ended, I went home and I thought about a question. Can I compare this movie with 'Independence Day'? I mean, both of these films were masterpieces and I don't know which one is better. I guess I have to see the amount of money in the box office. It's already out in Australia and the Australians are lucky, including me.

For those who haven't seen this movie, go and watch it because it is worth it. This movie is really good. I think this movie is about two times better than 'Independence Day'. Don't ask why if you have seen the movie. For those who haven't, go and watch the movie and you'll figure out why.

I am definitely going to buy this movie when it comes out on DVD. I can't wait, man. For those who are going to see the movie, enjoy.

thats a hard one


the two movies where so so so much the same


exept this movie had a beter story i think..and a beter ending...

this movie showed the story of 5 groups of people just like ID4 did

well i dont think you have seen the film yet

but it was totaly like ID4


expecialy the directing...

the 2 movies are so much the same...

godzilla and the patriot where different

these 2 movies being desaster movies and having the same writer/director

i could just about tell when they where going to cut to a different scene..

the ending and the score where very much alike














its like reservior dogs and pulp fiction being the same

















with his movie had the most in common with ID4 as..as i said..the four different storys

this movie has a hell of alot in common with ID4

the directing..the writing..

I think "The Day After Tomorrow" was better than "Independence Day"

ID4 blew this out of the water. I liked this okay, but I found myself laughing a lot of the time when I wasn't supposed to be. Independence Day was fun, funny, and dramatic (enough) when it was supposed to be. Just my opinion, but I think this is a considerable step down in quality.

The movie is so great. I can't say more of it. It's just so great. It's like I wanna kidnap Lindsay Lohan and abuse her. LOL
That's how good the movie is.

I also like the idea of putting politics in this movie. And the U.S President and the Vice-President, wow, their participation is powerful.
When the U.S President didn't make it, he died of course, the Vice-President took his place. It was so powerful.



I just didn't like the mistake they made when Dennis Quaid were brought inside the helicopter. J.D was supposed to be between Sam and his friend. But when they got a close up, J.D was on the right side and Sam's friend was between them. And Sam didn't have to go to that ship because there was already a medicine box in the cafeteria of that public library.

Anyway, despite of these mistakes, the movie did great. Two thumbs up!

Independence Day and The Day After Tomorrow are totally different. They just have the same ingredients. Like something is going to happen that will threaten our civilization. Plus, poweful scores that would make you hold your breath.

Honestly, the ingredients are "Twister", "Deep Impact", "A Perfect Storm". And we got a very delicious delicacy served on our table. Perfect!

I watched the movie last week. However, I couldn't help but keep coming back for more. I came back to see it again last Friday night, then, last Saturday, yesterday, and probably, I'm gonna invite my students to watch it with me today. Hehehe... I mean, come on, it's an awesome movie. It's still in theatres and I'm gonna watch it again this weekend.

When I was watching the movie, some boys and girls behind me were chuckling and giggling. You know why? That's because they kept saying "Oh, Spiderman is there!" They're talking about Jake and they said that he looks like Tobey Magguire. I think Jake and Tobey have the same voice and eyes' fold. I love the girl who played Jake's love interest. She's hot and looks smart.

yeah...

see ID4 was way ahead of its time..i mean compare it to other movies made that year





but ID4 had alot more talking then this film
