On December 16, the New York Film Critics Association made theri announcements on the Best of 2002's film line-up. For the Best Animated Film of 2002, they chose Hayao Miyazaki's 'Spirited Away.' This marks the 3rd commendation by film critic associations in North America (along with Los Angeles and Boston).
Also of notice was the New York Critics Online Awards, composed of 24 critics from New York, who also picked the film for 'Best Animated film of 2002.' |
