I never understood why it has become common understanding that things like Star Trek conventions etc. are sad. People do what they feel will make them happy. They get married, have kids, drink alcohol, do drugs, buy cars, make money, shop, have sex, read, write, do crossword puzzles, go postal with shotguns. Why is immersing yourself in what interests you more sad than anything else because it happens to involve things that don't exist? If it by definition has to be then a whole lot of people like Einstein, Gandhi and Plato were downright tragic. To me seeing a movie you like over and over again is no more sad than "scoring" with the "hottest" member of the opposite sex on the first date. A lot of people would cheer you on but in the end it's just as big a waste of time considering you could be out doing your best to end world hunger or establish world peace.

itll contain the 23 minutes they took out and some commentaries including one with kate )

itll be finished in early to mid april and they are gonna start shooting in fall. and somewhen then the book will be published

arent we talking about the sequel ?

the sequel is still being written.
the book to underworld 1 was released 3 weeks before the movie, so sept. X 2003 in the states.

and when the script is done theyre gonna write the book to the sequel which will be released before the movie, too.
and i guess that will be some time between fall 2004 and summer 2005.

hmm
ok lets try it this way:

the actors need sth to read so they know how they are to play the characters.

too, they need to know the story.

thats the screenplay, or script.

lets call the script for underworld 1 S1, the book B1, the movie itself U1.
and for underworld 2: S2, B2, U2

S1 was the first written. with it they made B1 and U1 in the same time. of course, B1 was finished before U1 was ...
thats why B1 was published earlier than U1.

and thats the same way itll be with underworld 2. S2 will be finished in early to mid april, B2 will be out in the time between fall 2004 and summer 2005, U2 will be out fall 2005.
