| about lucian's arm and viktor's coffin |

i dont know why, but today was thinking about kravens prove that lucian is dead.
it is said that he brought back the branded skin of lucians very arm.
this picture flashed through my mind, and i saw the *V*, remembering there was a V on viktors coffin, too. this one, of course, is for viktor.
so, after reviewing both scenes you see the V from lucians arm together with an eyelike form and 3 small circles around it. under the V you see 7 in latin, VII.
to the left, in the book, you see several numbers in latin and names to it. that maybe the names of the lycan *in charge*. however this is not where my thoughts were going.
so, when you check the scene where selene opens viktors coffin, you, again, see a *V*. im not talking about the V in the coffin, which is just a normal V, but about that one selene turns so that the coffin is exposed to her.
and this *V* is exactly the same one lucian got on his arm.
and that made me think about some szenarios of coulds and woulds ...
the following one being a fact:
[like, lycans and vampires do have the same origin. alexander corvinus, the first human to bear the essence of immortality, had two children. one was bitten by a wolf, one by a bat.
thats why lucian called kraven his cousin before he died, if he really died.
so all vampires and lycans are related to each other in some way.]
.....
but, this doesnt point out why the *V* is the very same.
(this post takes forever cuz im thinking about the coulds and woulds all the time. but i came to a dead end no matter which way i followed.)
so i ask you.
any idea? thought? theory?
edit: right now i was thinking i got the answer, and it is simplicity itself.
the lycans were once slaves to the vampires, and viktor just *branded his property*
humm ....
