But I like Underworld's better. In Blade the vampires have blood gods and bat-spirits but vampirism is a medical condition that can be cured scientifically. The older ones sit at board meetings and the younger go clubbing and Blade wages a private war, killing them all off one by one. Underworld stays on the scientific side but at the same time, it's more Gothic and medieval with the mansion, the Elders and the Death Dealers. It is more of a war of two sides of soldiers.
