Superhero Hype first pointed out that The Internet Movie Database had listed a few new additions to the cast of Elektra. The site says Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa (Mortal Kombat), Hiro Kanagawa (Extreme Ops), Colin Cunningham (The 6th Day), and athlete-fighter Bob "The Beast" Sapp have all joined the film.
The Marvel/Fox spin-off is now filming in Vancouver under the direction of Rob Bowman. It stars Jennifer Garner, Terrence Stamp, Goran Visnjic, Will Yun Lee and Natassia Malthe.
IGN FilmForce checked with its Elektra sources who advised us that Tagawa portrays Roshi, the leader of the ninja group The Hand; Cunningham plays McCabe, an agent who works with Elektra; Kanagawa is Meizumi, a senior Hand council member; and Sapp belongs to an elite team of Hand operatives. |
