looks like this will be this generations Supergirl. Good movie but flopped at the box office with no sequel probably. will probably become a cult classic in 20 years,like Supergirl.

its not the 2nd straight movie. the movie before that was spidey 2. i dont think it flopped

only 1 marvel movie flopped so far and that was Punisher. and even that was with a stretch. after all it did make its money back and thensome.

blade trinity didnt make as much but thats because it opened up against ocean 12. so its not realy a flop. it just had overwelming competition.

elektra was an awsome movie (i give it a 7-10)

and there isnt going to be a sequel because they didnt plan on making a sequel. from what i've read,

the sequel will be daredevil 2 where they reunite. so in a sense elektra IS a sequel

i enjoyed it and it was a very nice kung fu movie

I Enjoyed it too!
I know it was not as good as it could be. But, this was like the Hulk movie. it had a lot of background issues to cover. it had to mix it in with the current story.
I Liked This Movie!
I know the Box Office isn't looking good.
I atleast expected a good opening.
But Look, there were 2 other very strong movies out this weekend.
Fockers, and Coach.
they undoubtably bled off some of her support.

it wasnt a bad movie, in fact i liked it alot. Everyone has probably heard statements that this is " the first big flop of 2005", but what do you call "white noise", it sucked REALLY bad!!!!!!

Not bad at all, especially compared to the crap-fest that was Blade Trinity. I enjoyed the heck out of Blade 1, Blade 2 was weird, but in a fun way. Trinity just made no sense, and I'm probably the most forgiving person on earth when it comes to comic book movies. If they finally decide to slap a Deadpool mask on Ryan Reynolds because of Trinity, then it will have been worth it, but otherwise, bleah. I'd love to see them do more movies like Elektra, little cinematic one-shots to go in-depth about certain characters, as long as its a character worth exploring. Wolverine and Magneto, heck yeah. Rogue, Iceman, Storm, hell no. For what it was, a movie with lots of fights with magic ninjas, Elektra was great, nowhere near the crap pile Supergirl was. God, that was bad, and I'm including the Corman FF movie and the old Captain America movies, with the Italian Red Skull and the ones with the whole Evel Knievel stunt show theme.

IMO MARVEL can still make awesome movies! Just look at the teaser trailer of the Fantastic Four! It looks like it has potential to be a great movie! I haven't seen ELEKTRA, and I know that's there's been negative feedback, but I'm still planning to go watch it this weekend.

i hope batman begin will rock. maybe it can salvage DC's movie franchise. i am however not looking forward to batman (since im not a fan) but to superman returns. i love the superman franchise
