Ok, Elektra...not going to bother to see it, same way when Catwoman came out. It got 6% at rottentomatoes.com. Maybe this should be a hint that they should tone it down with videogame and comic book movies. There's way too many in production and only a select few, and I mean few that will actually be good.

dont listen to what the critics are saying. Look at what the fans here on this board are, and pretty much all of them are positive. Also, cinescape, the 'source for genre entertainment' gave it a B, so it cant be as bad as the critics say.

Saw Elektra last night. It's only playing at 5 Marcus theaters in Wisconsin. The attendant said Fox wanted too much for the film so it's not being played by a lot of theaters.

As far as a martial arts film goes it's lacking enough scenes to make it a really good martial arts film. As far as story line goes, it's predictable, however, an attempt at misleading the audience is done. It's not worth an evening showing, but definitely worth a Sunday mantine.

i liked it. it was a good action flick, IMO, though it should have been rated R.

as for what the critics were saying, when have you ever known critics to love a straight action movie?
