I liked the village, which was panned by critics, which gives me hope for Elektra, since its also being panned.

All 3 films (AVP, Villiage, and Elektra) will be disputed as to being good or bad but that's about all they have in common. AVP and Villiage are hugely hyped films. I love Elektra. I've been a fan of her comics and a fan of how she was potrayed in daredevil. I still have a theatre banner of Elektra from DD hanging on my wall. I had lots of hope for the film but never thought of it as 'one of the years best'. After seeing the preview I was a bit disappointed but after seeing the film... it stayed true to it's roots and was a good film. Nothing marvelous, nothing horrible. It was perfectly fine.

I agree, the village was good. Different form m. night shyamalan's other movies, but good none the less.

As for Elektra... what can I say. Kill Bill meets Hero is the only way I can describe it. I can't say that I enjoyed it as much as I would have hoped. However, Jennifer Garner is a good actress and she did a good job.

I don't think it will be this year's flop. It's not doing as well as I thought it would, but it's not going to be as bad as Catwoman.

There are times when I feel guilty...the question is, do I feel guilty enough to change?

I thought The Village was good. I try not to listen to anything critics say, cos usually they never agree with me.

I havnt seen Elektra yet, but the trailers look ok. And theres gonna be worse films than it out this year.

this film is no Catwoman, this film is suffering from backlash of daredevil and the people getting sick of comic book movies in general. face it, it was going to happen. people are going tired of stupid sequels and comic book movies every summer.

this film is just incident bystander. this is a better film than daredevil and catwoman. but hey, thats just me. i love this movie, it should get more money. it deserves it

why dont some of you like the village, i thought it was awsome.

as for avp, it wasnt bad, but it wasnt the greatest. the alein/pred fight, should have been longer
