I've just noticed that Robert Llewellyn's site ( Llew.co.uk ) have confirmed the shooting and release dates.

Here's what it says:
The Red Dwarf film is being shot in January 2003, due to be released in Autumn 2003. That's really all I know at the moment. Of course, regular visitors to the site will know that as soon as there is more news, I will let you have it.


The shooting date was originally set to be September 2002, looks like it's changed though. The release date seems to be the same though.

dang! not even shooting till next year! this has been a loooong movie process for them! I recall years back when it was suppose to be coming out and kept getting pushed back...

I also recall this time, Kit... I've been waiting for this movie for so long now! I thought they were already shooting it, but apparently not *sigh*

Good to see you prowling about Branwen I know, I imagine they wonder at how well it would do perhaps.. I for one would go and see it and I don't often travel out to see movies

I've been a fan of Red Dwarf for years! But I heard so little about the film I kind of forgot it was actually happening Ah well. I'm sure it'll turn up one day...
