Blade: Trinity “Not as sharp as 2.” — peter_haase13 [More reviews by this user] Anticipation Level: How excited (or not) I am to see this movie... This film is a funny mix. It's actually a better sequel to Blade 1 than Blade 2 (Blade 2 in my humble opinion being in a gothic class of its own). This looks and feels an awful lot like the first film and forgets about Blades tiny bit of character development found in the 2nd installment. The two newcomers(+ someone else) bring in a whole teen flick cast-off angle to the proceedings that Im not not sure works in a blade movie. Plus the all too obvious fact that these weaker characters are being set-up here for their own movie franchise seems a bit cheeky and manipulative. It's still a good blast though, and better than others trying the same, even with its weird ending. But Blade 2 remains the coolest. Movie Review: N/A My thoughts on this movie...
