October 3, 2004 — SCI FI reports that actor Ryan Reynolds will be sporting a beard for the Amityville Horror, his next film, because of Blade: Trinity:

"Now I'm a bearded actor," Reynolds said. "I had to do some reshoots for Blade. We picked up a couple of quick shots, so they put me back in a gym and on a facial-hair growth routine. So by the time I reported for duty here, I basically had a beard. And I just thought, 'Well, let's do it.'"
