June 27, 2004 — Shaka from Moviehole reported Friday that "Warner Brothers doesn't want to greenlight the film unless Arnold plays the character to ensure the film be financially successful at the box-office. Warner Brothers wanted Triple H. to take over the Conan role but over the last few months have waned to the idea. The WB knows if someone like Triple H. stars as Conan there is a huge risk with the film flopping (much like The Punisher with an unknown Tom Jane as the lead).
