I am so glad that John Millus is writing this one. I loved the first Conan movie. That's in my 5 greatest movies of all time. The first Conan movie was so perfect. It was also a lot different from other kind of movies. The second one was ok. It got a little sappy at some points but I still enjoyed it. But I think that the #1 soundtrack score is also Conan the Barbarian. The music is perfect. I loved how they ended each of the Conan movies with Conan sitting in a chair very still with Conan having a beard. I definiteley think that arnold should have a beard in this and final Conan film. He would look so cool. Arnold is at a perfect age to do this movie. Here is what they need to make this a great Conan film.
1. Great music like the first film (maybe use some of the original music in the film or just in the trailer)
2. Conan being a total bada**
3. 1 or 2 really big bloody battle scenes
4. a great story
5. A bada** badguy that has some great lines (like James Earl Jones)
6. Great acting
Has anyone seen the 13th Warrior? I thought that the leader of those Vikings that died a noble death at the end reminded me of Conan. He was the prince with long blonde hair. Well it was also a pretty good movie.
But I think this Conan film will be really good if they do it right.
I agree with all of your points. Plus, we'll probably see Arnold's buddy, Sven (as in 13th Warrior ) Arnold should not fear playing an older King. I think it will only help his resume and box office draw.
It would fit perfectly anyway-conan is arnold, arnold is conan, and they are both getting a bit older-arnold's no geezer by any means, but hes not in his absolute prime either.
