u know how im always saying stuff about romans, well, i think the trojan survivors found rome, i know that is one theory, but the guy with the sword, and the fact that the trojan soldiers look somewhat roman hints it a little

And the guy with the sword handed to him by the Trojan Prince is trying to compete with Orlando Bloom. He got it for only 7 seconds or something.

well i dont know much


but i dont think it had any roman stuff in it



i think that the greeks where the leaders of the world untill like 1500BC when they where beat by the romans(about 100 years after troy)

i know that the Trojans founding the city of rome is one theory, and when paris tells the young man to lead the people to a new land kind of hints like thats what the filmmakers wanted us to think. i mean, the Trojan army used roman tactics, well sort of, knowtice the large rectangular shields, used efectivly.

The story goes that a group of Trojans lead by Aeneas escaped the sack of Troy and sailed to Italy where they eventully founded Rome, after fighting a war with the Rutilains. That's as it is told in Virgil's Aeneid.

The guy who Paris gives the sword to in the movie is Aeneas, so he is giving him the sword of Troy to carry to Rome.
