Access Integrated Technologies Digitally Delivers DreamWorks' 'Madagascar' to 11 Theatres Across the United States

With This Latest Release, All Five 2K Digital Screens at the Company's Pavilion Digital Showcase Theatre Are In Full-Time Operation.

Access Integrated Technologies, Inc. ("AccessIT") (Amex: AIX) today announced its Access Digital Media subsidiary has delivered and projected DreamWorks SKG Studios' newest major release, "Madagascar," to 11 digitally equipped theaters around the country. The animated film, featuring the vocal talents of an all-star cast including Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, David Schwimmer, and Jada Pinkett Smith, opened nationally on Friday, May 27th in both digital and analog formats.

In agreement with DreamWorks, AccessIT provided, under commercial terms, digital content management and secure delivery of the film, via satellite, to 11 AccessIT digitally equipped theaters in the U.S. A total of 12 screens are booked to show the film through this agreement.

"Madagascar's" release is a milestone for AccessIT. For the first time, a major film is being shown on three 2K digitally equipped screens in a single theatre, the company's owned and operated, state-of-the-art Pavilion Digital Showcase theatre located in Brooklyn, New York. All five 2K digital screens at the Pavilion are now in full-time operation, the most 2K screens in a single facility.

Russell Wintner, President and COO of Access Digital Media, the media services subsidiary of AccessIT stated, "We're excited to see that digital-released movies are gaining traction and are pleased to once again be working with DreamWorks on their latest box office hit." Mark Christiansen, Head of Operations for DreamWorks Distribution, added, "Animated films such as 'Madagascar,' created in digital format, are ideally presented to audiences in digital format. AccessIT was a logical choice to handle our latest release, having already successfully delivered both 'Collateral' and 'Shark Tale' to digital screens across the country."
