Madagascar is pretty formulaic and its plot is wafer thin, but it still delivers in the department of laughs. None of the voice actors, which include beloved comics Chris Rock and Ben Stiller, ever excert all their humorous muscle, but there's plenty enough slapstick to keep both kids and adults involved. I went and saw the movie yesterday with my two younger brothers and my girlfriend. And I thought the movie had its parts but over all wished I had waited for it to come out on DVD. It was funny at some parts but I thought they rushed the plot and the movie. The movie just did not flow for me. Now on the funny aspect, it was pretty good. But I was expecting more out of a Dreamwork animation work.
