First of all,English is not my mother language,but I4ll try my best to be understood. I have a great trust in the crew involved with this film, it4s certainly a "dream team".But ,as an admirer of Patrick O4Brian4s books, I4m hoping to see some things included in the movie,and of course my anticipation level depends on them: 1-The causes of Jack4s obsession with chasing the French ship. 2-Jack4s joyful and uninhibited spirit. His basic good nature is one of the things wich have brought so many people to become fans of the books. 3-I hope there4s some female character of importance in the film,as Jack and Stephen4s decisions and motivations are affected by them to a great extent. 4-I4d be really disappointed if the Catalan Independence matter ends being totally absent of the storyline.Maturin4s ideals about it,his partly Catalan origins and his knowledge of the language are essential in my viewpoint. In other words,I hope some complexity in the characters,not only battles and actions scenes.I know this is a movie and some details will have to be eliminated,but I consider that the points I4ve mentioned are too important for the characters to be left aside,and as I4ve said,my ultimate interest in this film relies on them.
