In the film, Auto Focus, Bob Crane is shown as an avid user of very early consumer video equipment. The props for the film were obtained from LabGuy's World , a web site and museum devoted to the topic of extinct consumer video equipment. Be sure to check this out!

I saw the trailer for Auto focus, Given I have the one camera that they use, and, having used it, I have a few concerns... That camera, the Sony CVC-2100A, needs a lot of things... an electrical hookup, a microphone, and LOTS of light. Moreover, after some odd close to 30 years, I think it owuld be now, the thing doesn't make that great an image anymore, and I wonder if the camera was just a prop or did they actually use the image it produced? I have similar gear to some of the other stuff, but the camera is the one thing I have the exact one. lots of stuff in movies is not hooked up properly and it really bugs me to see this, for some reason.
