May 4, 2004 — Variety reports that the teaser trailer for Screen Gems' "Resident Evil: Apocalypse" will also be seen in the film. The teaser has been downloaded 8.5 million times since its Fall debut. It was directed by Marcus Nispel, who helmed "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre", and was designed to be a "commercial" for a women's beauty product called Regenerate. At the end of the teaser, the model featured in the commercial turns into a Zombie.
