The Last Samurai Review

When I paid to get the ticket to go into the theatre I was still looking around trying to decide if I would just go ahead and see some other highly anticipated movie. My cousin who came with me insisted that we both saw the Last Samurai. I have always loved martial arts integrated into movies but I thought it was not going to be something that looked at all right considering the main actor had no kind of experience in the martial arts. I think the main reason I eventually went in was out of curiosity on how Tom Cruise would handle himself.

When I got in, the movie started while my cousin went to go get some popcorn and soda for the ride. By the time she got back I was already captivated or should I say hypnotized by what going on the big screen. By the time I took notice of the popcorn, the credits were rolling. I was exhausted from the whole experience. I had cottonmouth as a result of my mouth staying open in amazement of the awe-inspiring acting and action. I also had a sore neck from not moving almost at all. My cousin sarcastically asked me to sue the film company; a though I took somewhat seriously.

I will not say a word of the movie at all because I believe such a phenomenal movie should not be told or written but experienced. Tom Cruise gave some of his best work ever and I think it was a film he absolutely enjoyed being a part of. For those who are reading this article but havent seen the movie, do not deny yourselves from experiencing one of the greatest things to ever hit the big screen. Ive personally never been able to answer the ever so famous question. What is your favorite movie? Well lets just say I would be glad to answer that questionanytime!
