The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen “In a league of its own.” — Remylebeau [More reviews by this user] Anticipation Level: How excited (or not) I am to see this movie... Nothing Entered Yet! Movie Review: My thoughts on this movie... Theres not alot of comic aduptations that make a good impression on screen. But i think this one is good. Allan Quatermain played by Sean Connery reminded me of a much older Indianna Jones. Infact He could have been indianna jones father as he was in the third movie and set just in the near future from the movie. But he plays the part well. He really did make this in a league of its own. Mina Harker was an interesting character. Often i feel that vampires havent been done right in the movie's but she really took it too a new level. Back to the original myths of being a vampire. the Invisible Man was one of the funniest characters in the bunch. He trulley played the part of a british thief very well. His comical timming we excellent. Dr. Henry Jekyll a bit freaky at first but the rampaging hyde is very much a different character than what i expected. By the end of the movie i think i even liked the character. Captain Nemo is whily for an old man. He can really fight. It just seems odd. But his past seems to be the most covered up in this movie. maybe we will learn more about him in a sequil if there will be one. Dorian Gray was one of my favirot characters in the lot mainly because he reminded me of Johnny Depp. Even thought he was played by someone else. His way of life was intresting and i think was one of the best characters in the movie. Thomas Sawyer im confused with. there is several points in the movie that makes you wonder if he is one of strange men in the group and not normal like the rest. anyway he is a good character.
