I was watching Ebert & Roeper Sunday night to see what they thought of LXG, During their discussion, Roger Ebert brought up a Wonderful point. There was a car chase scene is Venice, Italy. Now I dont know if any of you have been to Venice but THERE AREN'T ANY ROADS IN VENICE!!!! Yes there are bridges but there are NO roads! By the way Roger Ebert and Richard Roeper gave LXG TWO HUGE THUMBS DOWN. They both agreed that it was one of the worst films of the year. They are not the only critics who have that opinion.
News flash! This just in!... it's JUST a movie! I'm prettysure vampires and invisible people don't exsist either! But wow there they are! This film is fictional.... don' nit pick at things that are forgetable. LXG was a great movie and had some of the best cgi i've ever seen.
Gee, if you watch closely, they aren't driving on roads. They are driving on the wide paved areas for people to walk on.
That's why they went down stairs and in between pillars.
Work like you don't need the money,
Dance like no one is watching, and
Love like you've never been hurt!
Yes, but there are plenty of ways to have an exciting chase in a Victorian-era world, even a parallel/fantasy world...they just didn't try very hard to come up with something.
