Me and my brother consider that would it felt like i was watching a Real-live action Final Fantasy. IN Final Fantasy it is the same where you have to protect something!

Acutally....

Final Fantasy wasn't the first thing that popped into my mind before, when, and after I have viewed this film. Of course, there are many movies where something needs to be protected, and whatnot, but I found the overall plot of LXG to be nothing along the lines of SquareSoft's popular FF series.

It was a good movie, though. Not exactly what I had expected, but interesting.

I wonder, though, if it's anything like the comic book/graphic novel that it originated from.

I should check.

I was thinking under the lines of an olden day version of x-men (replace mutation with legends). If this movie was made into a video game an rpg like final fantasy would be pretty cool though.

You know what video game this movie was REALLY like? "Shadow Hearts"

It's set in the Victorian Era, and there's the basic characters-
The Changeling (Dr. Jekyll/Yuri)
The Mortal (Alan/Alice)
The Spy (Tom/Marguerite)
The Mysterious Old Fellow (Nemo/Chang, I think that's the Chinese fellow's name)
The Kind Hearted Vampyr (Mina/Keith)
The Guy that shows up and flirts with both sexes (Dorian/Moxibustion Guy)
The Pickpocket (Rodney/Halley)
The Deceiver (Moriarity/Roger)

Actually, LXG and Van Helsing RPGs DO sound cool....

And on the subject of RPGs, is it just me, or does Richard Roxburgh look like Iskandar from "Unlimited Saga"?
