This idea takes off from the last AvP.
A group of scientist and soldiers come and investigate the missing group of explorers. They do not find the pyramid but discover an alien (the queen)deep in the artic waters, frozen. The scientist then set up a huge underground base in Antarctica to examine the alien. They ice slowly melts making the queen live then it cuts. Next week, 4 squads of soldiers is sent to the base to examine a distress signal. They enter the base finding all lights dead, all doors locked and all the staff dead. They split up and try to find any survivors.
The soldiers discover some survivors, telling them not to open the big, main door because they will all die. Thinking they have gone made, the soldiers open it to try to find the other staff.
The story goes on and on and some of them die.
Then, the 3 squads that went into the main complex of the base are now trapped inside and the one squad on the top level call for reinforcements.

The 3 squads, now almost out, locked the sercurity doors and blocked it off. They all prepare their ammo to fend of the huge alien army trying to break the door. The soldiers without weapons use items in the room (crowbars, sharpened metal bars etc.) and get ready to defend. The aliens break through and there is a massive fight between the two species. The aliens are slowly winning but then the reinforcements come from behind the aliens and start attacking. The aliens die. Alot of the army is dead or injured. They then discover that there is a whole other army of aliens breeding in another part of the base and they are quickly advancing.
The soldiers run to the surface, many dying on the way by incoming aliens. Once out, the army on the surface, including helicopters start shooting the aliens coming out. The soldiers start getting into the transport helicopters and leave.
This was a really short explanation without any real details on the characters and what happens in the story but that was my idea
