Alien vs. Predator “WOW!” — PapoKahn [More reviews by this user] Anticipation Level: How excited (or not) I am to see this movie... Well first off like many out there, I have been waiting for this event for years now. Paul Anderson directing, I thought it was going to be a sure hit. Then I find out 2 things. For one, it's PG-13 and two, it's an hour and thirty-seven minutes. PG-13 for a series that have all been rated R makes no sense. But let's get down to it. AVP had potential. It lacked starpower to say the least, there were barely any fight scenes with the aliens and predators, the best part of the movie, (the predators on top of the pyramid fighting off hordes of aliens), was a 30 second flashback, 2 predators were killed off back to back way early in the hunt, it was drawn out the first hour into it and just so much more negative elements could be included. I don't know which was better, Spiderman 2 or this. Tough call as both were the worst most anticipated movies I've seen.
