Alien vs. Predator “Needs new plot” — Movie_Nerd_44 [More reviews by this user] Anticipation Level: How excited (or not) I am to see this movie... AvP video game plot should have been used in my mind. All these writers and what not that are re-inventing or re-introducing old horror or sci-fi movies, are screwing them up by trying to make them too hip instead of classic. Examples: Jason X and Freddy Vs. Jason. Those were two great horror classics that got totally smashed when that movie was made, and it could have been soo much more. The video game plot fits in with both of the movies, aliens living on LV-1201, predators hunting them for generations, and humans disturbing it all. Now we are dealing with aliens and predators SOMEHOW showing up on earth in present day. As much as I hate the plot, the trailor still makes it look like it wil be an exciting movie. In my mind, the main reason anyone will see ths movie, is not because of the plot, it will be becuase they love the Alien and Predator movies.
