Movie Review:
My thoughts on this movie...
Truth be told, I really believe most people were far too harsh about this film. There will never, ever be an emotional reaction on the same level as the first time you watch the originals of either series, and the simple fact that these creatures are finally meeting on screen should be enough for any one's entertainment value. I'd be completely remiss to think that the film was flawless. It was full of bad, emotionless scenes and annoying dialogue, but that's not what I watched it for. I wanted to see how a director whose movies I usually enjoy handled this precarious concept. I really think he did a decent job with cool fight scenes and a good use of the Queen alien in the final scenes. Though the effects on the Predators when their masks were off seemed weak compared to Sam Winston's original work, it all came together nicely for the most part. I still say B-.
DVD Review:
Thoughts on the DVD release of this movie...
Lackluster special features which weren't helped by the unrated edition( thanks ever so much for the delayed second release , you money grubbing whores at 20th Century Fox).I hate that I feel the need to buy most movies one the day they come out.
