December 6, 2003 — Sanaa Lathan, who plays the leading lady in the 2004 horror/sci-fi flick 'Alien vs Predator' told Cinescape a bit about her character. She'll play a herione in the mold of Sigourney Weaver's Ripley character in the Alien films.

Lathan's character is the lead in the film, kind of like Sigourney Weaver's Ripley in the stand-alone ALIEN films. Whereas Ripley was a Warrant Officer on an interstellar commercial ore refinery that was at the wrong place and wrong time, Lathan's Kline is a professional explorer hired by billionaire Charles Wayland to investigate the strange pyramid discovered beneath the surface of Antartica. What it boils down to is: it's still the wrong place and the wrong time to be there.

Lathan joins the previously announced Lance Henriksen (Charles Wayland) and the newly revealed cast members Ewen Bremmer and Raoul Bova. Shooting commences on October 28 in Prague

this is gonna rock if they get it right, hopefully they'll remember that Pred technology uses light, since it travels at the speed of light it should be able to detect radar and or motion sensor technology, it also needs to focus on using "remote bombs" and hopefully they'll explain a bit about where the aliens come from. If you recall in the first movie, the pilot of the alien craft was molded into it's seat, designed to drive that vehical, how it got the queen inside it and why it blasted out was never explained, so where'd they come from, do aliens have technology and don't care?

I just hope they use simliar weapon systems and for god sakes don't make it cheezy, any questions get the game and play it.
