September 2, 2002 — MovieHole reports:
A Story in itself, but never the less the topic of a new movie the actor is being roped into starring in. According to Variety, What Women Want director Nancy Meyers looks to have the lead alongside Jack Nicholson in the untitled Columbia comedy which Meyers wrote and will direct. Diane Keaton, who starred in both Father of the Bride films which Meyers cowrote and produced, is the frontrunner.
Nicholson plays a successful guy and chronic dater of young women. He joins a woman half his age for a weekend in East Hampton. There, he meets her mom. When he has a heart attack and convalesces at the Hamptons house, the mom cares for him while the daughter heads back to Gotham. The guy finds he has a lot in common with a woman his own age, and they fall in love. He has to deal with the ramifications of such an unfathomable development. |
