Nice pics on this fellows site. It's largely Indiana Jones, but he's also got some nice prop replicas. Apparently they are for show, not for sale.

Visit the site for all the pics.

I don't know. The way he wrote the descriptions for some of the items gives the impression that he does sell replicas, at least the simpler ones.(Read his descriptions for the grail diaries, it sounds like he sells those at least) And I found prices for at least one item, the Holy Grail of Antioch, with prices ranging from $600 to $9,500(solid silver). I think you just have to e-mail him if your interested in an item. If thats the case you should be able to get a Red Book with blank pages(maybe not this one though: RedBook of Westmarch
What the price would be is beyond me however.

No, Sam. Not yet anyway, not further than the Havens. Though you too were a Ring-bearer, if only for a little while. Your time may come.

It would be really nifty to have what is essentially "The Hobbit" and "Lord of the Rings"in the format of the Red Book of Westmarch.

In fact, I wonder why one of the publishers hasn't done this. I'm sure they could sell a few thousand as "collector's editions"

Actually looking back at the page I linked, he IS going to be selling the Redbook with all the writing in it. At the bottom of the page is a link to a message board post that details the idea and implementation of the book.(The post is about 54 pages long, I didn't read all of it)
What I've read seems to suggest that he will make more for people who express interest on the board. But I don't think they've set a price yet.

But if I wre to make a highly uneducated, random, guess I would say somewhere in the range of $500-$2000. Of course it depends on how many he makes.

OK, now's the time for corporate greed to take over, mass-manufacture a few hundred thousand of them, and sell them for $100.00

Normally I would agree that that is the greatest idea i've ever heard of since, well, the LOTR movies. But then there's the little concern of rights and such.

Let's see, New Line must have the right to how that particular version looked. I'm surprised that someone like Franklin Mint or somebody hasn't produced this kind of a thing. But you're right, the text is what would be in question here.

Yeah, I guess I'll just have to make a day out of sifting through that message board to see if they have already talked about and/or resolved the issue.
