For some reason hes doing the score and not James Horner. Well this film has a very Dreamworks - Sam Mendes feel to it and I think you agree with me. A very Road To Predition likness about it.

Thomas Newman is one of my favourites and easly one of the best in history, all his scores are brilliant (even Lemony Snickets, mainly because most of it was borrowed from Road To Predition). So many times hes missed out on the best score oscar for amazing scores (American Beauty, Shawshank Redemption, Road To Predition, The Green Mile).

Cinderella Man looks like its getting released way to early to be oscar consideration. Its a common thing, it is rare that movies released before July, get oscar looks (not in there memory)..most oscar nominations are film that were released in the last 3 months, look at the golden globes. Eternal Sunshine made it though.

for those of you who dont know who he is..hes a film compser. his brother is Randy Newman who has done some scoring (rarly) but gets an oscar nomination every 2 years for best original song for some pixar film
