January 6, 2003 — The Wild Thornberrys Movie isn't quite following in the footsteps of Hey Arnold The Movie, which was also produced by Paramount and Nickelodeon. After opening to $6 Million, as did Hey Arnold, the film has grossed about $31 Million. This is good news considering the film cost $25 Million to make. This will be the biggest animated film from Nickelodeon and Paramount since The Rugrats in Paris, which grossed around $70 Million.
